Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 · Ancient Mosaics and Harbourside Vibes

Morning — Arrive in Paphos and explore the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO site famous for its incredibly preserved Roman mosaics.

Afternoon — Check into your resort and head straight to Lighthouse Beach for a swim. Walk the coastal boardwalk toward the Paphos Harbour, stopping for a frappé along the way.

Evening — Dine at a traditional taverna in Kato Paphos. Try 'Meze' to sample a variety of local Cypriot dishes like halloumi and souvlaki.

💡 Buy the 'Museum Pass' if you plan to visit multiple archaeological sites over 3 days.

Day 2 · Shipwrecks and Sandy Bays

Morning — Pick up your rental car and drive to the Edro III Shipwreck. Take photos of the stranded vessel and the nearby sea caves.

Afternoon — Spend the afternoon at Coral Bay, known for its golden sands and calm waters. It’s the perfect spot for sunbathing or light water sports.

Evening — Drive up to the village of Peyia for dinner with a view of the coastline, then enjoy a cocktail at a beachfront lounge in Coral Bay.

💡 Rental cars are the most efficient way to see the island; remember they drive on the left!

Day 3 · The Wild Akamas Peninsula Roadtrip

Morning — Start your road trip north to the Akamas Peninsula. Stop at the Baths of Aphrodite, a natural grotto surrounded by lush greenery.

Afternoon — Drive to the Blue Lagoon. Take a boat tour from Latchi Harbour to swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters—the best snorkeling in Cyprus.

Evening — Enjoy fresh seafood at a restaurant in Latchi Harbour as the sun sets over the Mediterranean. Drive back to Paphos in the cool evening air.

💡 The road to the Blue Lagoon can be rough; park at the Baths and take a shuttle boat or 4x4 tour.

Day 4 · Goddesses and Grand Necropolises

Morning — Visit the Tombs of the Kings, an impressive underground necropolis carved into solid rock dating back to the 4th century BC.

Afternoon — Drive south to Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock). Legend says the goddess of love was born here. Swim around the rock for 'eternal beauty.'

Evening — Return to Paphos Old Town (Ktima). Wander the narrow streets, shop for local lace and leather, and eat at a trendy bistro near the Town Hall.

💡 Old Town Paphos is higher up the hill and offers a much more 'local' feel than the touristy harbour.

Day 5 · Village Charms and Sweet Treats

Morning — Enjoy a slow morning at a beach club or visit the Paphos Ethnographic Museum to learn about local culture.

Afternoon — Head to Geroskipou village to visit the 5-domed Agia Paraskevi Church and shop for 'Loukoumi' (Cyprus Delight) at local workshops.

Evening — Final sunset dinner at the Paphos Medieval Castle area, reflecting on the trip before heading to the airport.

💡 Try the pomegranate juice sold by street vendors—it's a local specialty.
